WHAT WE DO
A&A Athletic Consulting, LLC was founded with a mission to guide and support families and student-athletes on their journey through the college admissions and recruiting process while also aiding institutions in implementing effective frameworks that prioritize the holistic well-being of student-athletes.
At the heart of A&A stands the Vigilance Safety Training Center, an educational hub endorsed by ECSI. This center proudly holds certifications in Sports & Entertainment Venue Staff, serving as a Testing Assessment Center for NOCTI. Through its offerings of Microcredentials, Job Readiness, Employability Skills, and pathways to college-to-career readiness, it equips individuals with essential tools for success.
Dedicated to enhancing safety and security across various sectors, the Safety Training Center extends its services to schools, universities, sports entities, and community organizations. By providing tailored support in health and safety planning, staff development, risk management strategies, and meticulous review of operational policies and procedures for events and facilities, it champions a culture of preparedness and excellence.

Alva Amaker is a dynamic leader in education, athletic administration, and safety training, serving as a Health and Physical Education professional, Athletics Academic Coordinator, and the visionary CEO/Founder of A&A Athletic Consultant, Vigilance Safety Training Center, and DCPG Sports. With a powerful blend of experience across K–12, collegiate, and community sports sectors, Alva specializes in program development, compliance, crisis response, and strategic leadership.
A recognized authority in sports safety and risk management, Alva has delivered first responder training since 1994 and was honored as Civility Worldwide’s Affiliate of the Month for her outstanding work in fostering proactive, emotionally grounded sports environments. Her leadership has transformed athletic programs—expanding one department from 97 to 432 participants—and launched initiatives like student advisory boards, contactless entry protocols, and real-time emergency response systems. She is a trusted partner to institutions and administrators, known for helping organizations assess vulnerabilities and redesign operations through a safety-first lens.
Whether preparing teams for high-stakes competition or managing emergency responses with calm precision, Alva brings unwavering integrity, passion, and purpose to every endeavor.
